26 – 27 September 2020 – De Meelfabriek in Leiden has been vacant for a long time, but is now in transition into a modern complex with private homes, businesses, hotel and wellness center.
A current employee of the flour factory, who has known the building for years, and has therefore also acquired a special connection with it, makes his rounds through the buildings. He says goodbye to the spaces in his own way. An end of a period.
26 September – 27 October 2020 – Eleven artists, a poet and a photographer. The artists in the exhibition ‘ELF’ were given a synthetic skull. My contribution is the video ==CRACK== in an installation with the remains of the skull. Iniator and curator ELF: Walter Koemig.
9 t/m 23 augustus 2020 Ontgrendeld/Unlocked was the first exhibition after the closure due to COVID-19: a group exhibition with a broad collection of artists. One work by each artist was shown, 29 in total. Every day one or two artists were present in the gallery for extra explanation,
My animation Riverside was shown, as well as an edited still on Hahnemühle fine art paper.
From 12 January to 16 February 2020 Art Gallery O-68 in Velp presented drawings by Lenneke van der Goot (Arnhem), videos by Inge Reisberman (Leiden) and sculptures by Coen Vernooij (Nijmegen). An exhibition about creating and redefining space. The opening was performed by Marjolein de Groen (Collection de Groen).
Artist Talk: On Sunday 16 February I gave an Artist Talk in the gallery with the title A Saucerful of Secrets.
21 september 2019 – The video triptych Upstream, Downstream and Floorstream, from the series Natures Mortes, was shown in the auditorium of Museum De Lakenhal during the 25th Art Route Leiden on 21 and 22 September 2019.
The videos were acquired by Museum De Lakenhal in 2015. One or more videos have been presented at Lowlands Festival by the museum in 2016 and in the LUMC gallery in 2017. Now the doors of the museum have opened again after a long renovation, the videos will be shown for the first time in the museum itself in summer 2019.
